Avens Limited currently has an exciting opportunity for an outstanding candidate to join its senior management team within its supported living services for adults with learning disabilities based in and around Kettering, Northamptonshire.
Position(s) available: Service Team Leader
Location: Kettering
Contract available: Full time
About the Applicant:
Applications are welcome from candidates who have a solid, recent background in the care sector, working at Team Leader level or equivalent with a minimum qualification of Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care and a clean driving licence.
About the Role:
The main purpose of the role is to ensure that the service is at all times compliant with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and local authorities’ guidance for providers and line managing head of house staff, their development and operating procedures to ensure that best practice standards are continuously maintained.

It is with deep sadness that we notify you of the passing of Christopher Andrews on 14 January 2025. Chris was the CEO of Avens until his retirement in October 2023 having worked for the Company for some 30 years. He played an important and pivotal role in the development and success of Avens and will be remembered fondly by his friends, colleagues and so many others outside of the Company.
His family have asked for privacy and understanding during this difficult time and our thoughts are with them. A memorial service will be planned for later this year.
